Using DIStreff

DIStreff gives members of DIS an opportunity to compare their family records with others. That way you can share or discuss  common relatives and start collaboration on future reasearch.

The DIStreff database contains info about:

• Names of peoples (Firstname and surname)
• Years associated with a place
• The database contains only info about deceased persons
  • people you have registered with no date of death will only be included if they are over 100 years old
  • people you have registered deceased are only included if they were born more than 80 years ago.
• The event that is extracted must be associated with a places that is a municipality or parish
